- The Marine National Park department has announced the annual closure of the Maya Bay in the national park area. The temporary two months closure will be from August 1st to September 30th. This decision has been taken to facilitate a vital period of ecosystem recovery and to ensure the long-term sustainability of this stunning natural environment. During this period we will offer a boat-based sightseeing experience of the bay, allowing our guests to appreciate its beauty from a safe and respectful distance.
